A craft knowledge matured directly from Masters who touched the reality of small workshops, a culture in which Messina is particularly rich by tradition. Making jewelry starting from the past does not obviate the demands of modernity, which are primarily dictated by the conception of the piece; on the other hand, in the design philosophy of the maison, tradition represents an index of enrichment. The priority is to give each piece of jewelry an indefinite quid, a character, which can only come from the knowledge of the craftsman who works on it with dedication.

Alfredo Correnti jewelry is largely made using the lost-wax technique. Lost wax is the same process by which the great bronze sculptures of antiquity were made, a process whereby wax forms are transformed into metal. Thus, one shapes directly with volume, unleashes the form from a soft, plastic material and then makes the metal equivalent and from there completes the work by decorating with stones, engraving with a burin, cleaning and coating, giving the pieces their unmistakable character.

The jewels are conceived as timeless pieces. That is why they are not chemically treated to stabilize their external characteristics, that is why the patinas disappear and regenerate on their own, giving life and their own character to jewelry conceived primarily as wearable sculptures.
