In 2021, the jewelry and accessories manufacturer Alvaro & Correnti was converted into the maison Alfredo Correnti. The story began in 1967 in the basement of Club Cinzia where the two friends and artists, Alfredo Correnti, a designer, and Giuseppe Alvaro, a goldsmith technician, first began developing models and experimenting with mastering different jewelry techniques and mainly lost wax. After two years in Rome they returned to Sicily where they founded their first store selling their work.
Since then, the design of Alvaro & Correnti has been consolidated over time, preferring the unique piece, organizing models from clients’ ideas, and casually exhibiting mastery of multiple styles. In 2008, the collaboration came to an end when Alfredo Correnti bought the shares of the company while continuing to offer his own jewelry design and maintaining, out of affection and vocation, the historical name Alvaro & Correnti.
In 2021, as a result of new experiences and business ideals, the brand was renamed after the founding designer: the Alfredo Correnti brand was born.
