Le Colonne di
Alvaro & Correnti

In 1996 Leila Correnti and Sanny Alvaro founded Le Colonne di Alvaro & Correnti in Taormina, a jewel box in the heart of the Sicilian village at Corso Umberto 164. The name came from the presence of two Roman columns from Taormina’s Greek theater that were used in the 19th century to complete the entrance to the building where the boutique is today.

The small store is a prestigious showcase and displays unique jewelry. It soon established itself as one of the borough’s luxury boutiques, a crossroads for many national and international experiences.

He thus becomes part of Taormina’s cultural scene and soon collaborates with events such as Taoarte, Taormina Film Festival or Taobuk, Taormina’s book festival. Through these events, he gathers an important portfolio of experience and knowledge among award-winning actors, great writers, directors, fashion designers, musicians and other major figures on the world stage.

The jewel of Taormina is a pure jewel, full of that classical richness from the nearby theater ruins, contaminated with the Arab or Norman influences traceable on the village buildings, enriched by the multiculturalism that modern tourism generates. Design expands and finds new life, declining in new forms the experiences of Alvaro & Correnti.
